MitoProt 2 annotates mitochondrial localisation by predicting the presence of a putative mTP sequence. MitoProt returns a targeting likelihood for almost all loci; therefore Rice DB applies a cut-off of 50% before annotating a locus as mitochondrially-targeted, because this is the strategy used by SUBA
